Giving Back to Those Who Gave to Us
Our Young Men and Women give their lives to serve this country, whether that be sacrificing the ease of civilian life or the ultimate sacrifice. Their families, the unsung heroes, also sacrifice so we may be free.
We at the SGT Ryan E. Doltz Memorial Foundation Inc. feel called to support not only our soldiers, sailors and airmen but also the families that stand behind them as they protect our freedoms. We do so through various efforts like college scholarships, private support to military families in need, and donations to local and larger organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Wreaths Across America.
Scholarships
Each year the SGT Ryan E. Doltz Memorial Foundation provides scholarships to college-bound students from Morris County, New Jersey; as well as members of the New Jersey National Guard and their dependents. The Foundation also supports the Ryan Doltz ‘00 Scholarship awarded at the Virginia Military Institute.
Support to Soldiers and Families
Each year the SGT Ryan E. Doltz Memorial Foundation provides support to soldiers and their families who are in need of assistance.
Survivor Advocacy and Support
One of the most terrible things a survivor can go through is the loss or severe injury of a loved one. The SGT Ryan E. Doltz Memorial Foundation supports those people by making hospital visits, advocating for support from local politicians, and being available to share the experience of loss.
